A yoga teacher specialized in teaching to children organizes sessions meanwhile the adults teacher does its own sessions.
Sometimes they work together with adults and children.
YOGA
Yoga sessions take place in 4 different spots dedicated to this :
- The pool-house roof terrace,
- Big « tadelakt » (typical moroccan ground material) squares in the garden,
- Grass spaces under the olive trees in the garden
- Inside the pool-lounge.
An outside yoga session in the Agafay desert is also included to feel something different, in the middle of nothing, in teh heart of the Agafay desert, facing sundown. (15-20 minutes drive from the villa)

At Taj Omayma, catering is local and bio, vegetarian and detox menus are proposed and a herbal tea open bar is proposed.

- Luxury rooms : 3 lodges et 3 in&out rooms (you can wether sleep Inside or in the outside canopy bed), with private garden, outside bath and fireplace .
- Serenity rooms : 2 Little Lodges and 3 Beldi rooms with private gardens

EMA POPAYA
Passionate about Yoga and eager to share her interest with her young son, Ema completed her yoga curriculum by a specialized ’teaching kids’ training at Rainbow Yo- ga in the UK. She currently teaches yoga for children at 3 primary schools, as well animate her own adult classes and workshops. In her yoga classes for kids, Ema places a special emphasis on improving concentration and enhancing creativity and spontaneity: much needed skills to be aware of and de- velop for the ADHD generation.

EDMOND TURQUIEH
A qualified Yoga Teacher, Edmond graduated in 2001 in Byron Bay from Yogarts, Australia, with a diploma totaling more than 900 hours (accredited by the Yoga Alliance) ofAshtanga and Iyengar Yoga complemented by philosophy, anatomy, Sanscrit and several other related classes. Over the course of 13 years practicing, he has had the privilege to study under the tutelage of inspirational teachers: Patthabi Jois, Louisa Sear, Eileen Hall, Glenn Ceresoli, Lance Schuler, Dena Kingsberg, Matthew Sweeney, Clive Sheridan, Rose
Baudin, Stewart Gilchrist, Mercedes Ngoh, to name but a few. In addition to the physical practice, Edmond has a good understanding of anatomy and physiology, indispensable
tools to accompany the students in their path of self discovery. Yoga has been a constant in Edmond’s life, and together with his personal explorations, he aims to share with you the fruits of a practice that can profoundly touch one’s life.
Latest yoga sessions at Taj Omayma
A yoga Practice that is drawing from Astanga and Vinyasa Krama styles, with a systematic targeting of the following areas: {Hamstrings}, {Hips}, {Back}, {Shoulders} and {Wrists, Twists and Ankles}. Each of those core joints, articulations and muscle groups are worked intensively through carefully sequenced flows. The aim is to achieve spontaneous release of core blockages in a structured format. To work in a progressive manner to build a foundation for a strong integral practice. Focus is placed on structural alignment and posture precision, as well as breath mindfulness while threading poses together. The aim is to guide each participant towards a deeper understanding of the asanas and the biomechanics of the body.
EXTRA ACTIVITIES
Outside of Yoga practice, participants are welcome to use their time as they wish.
For those willing to keep active, Taj Omayma offers a supplement of various activities (at the expense of the student): golf, one day trek in the Atlas, running, massages, shopping, dinners, lunches…
A Small guide is available in each room that suggests the good shops, restaurants, various phone numbers for all your extra activities.
Especially for children : pottery lessons, golf lessons, quadbike for children on a closed track, nearby aqualand, specific massages for kids …
OPTION : ONE NIGHT IN THE MARRAKECH DESERT
VILLA TAJ OMAYMA proposes, at your expense, to spend one night in the Taj Omayma Yoga Camp, a « made to measure » camp to spend one night very far, with 2 yoga sessions, really feeling Africa’s strength.
